Dr. Franken is a 1998 graduate of Washburn University. He went on to graduate from Northeastern State College of Optometry in 2002. He had an externship in ocular disease at the Muskogee VA Hospital in Oklahoma. Dr. Franken is a member of the American Optometric Association and Kansas Optometric Association. He is married to his wife Kim and has three children Taylor, Max, and Allison.
